History

Our story

Health & Beauty Canadian College (HBCC) was established in 2019 in Richmond Hill, Ontario, with a clear vision: to provide high-quality, career-focused education in the rapidly growing health, beauty, and Medical aesthetics industry. From its beginning, HBCC has been dedicated to empowering passionate students with the practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional confidence needed to succeed in competitive beauty and wellness careers.

Since its founding, HBCC has grown into a respected Ontario career college, offering a range of diploma and certificate programs designed to meet the evolving needs of the salon, spa, and aesthetics sector — including Medical Esthetics, Hairstyling, Medical Laboratory technician, Personal support worker, Early childhood Assistant, Pharmacy Assistant and more. These programs are offered under the authority of the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. Professional certification or membership requirements are determined by external regulatory bodies and are not guaranteed by program completion.

HBCC’s programs blend hands-on, practical training with strong industry-relevant theory, ensuring that graduates leave campus ready to thrive as professionals, entrepreneurs, or business owners. The college continually evolves its curriculum to reflect current trends, technologies, and best practices in beauty and wellness care.

HBCC places a strong emphasis on structured education, evidence-based instruction, and competency-driven learning aligned with provincial standards. Our programs are designed to build a solid foundation of knowledge, critical thinking, and professional ethics through classroom instruction, guided coursework, and instructor-led training.

To further support this educational framework, HBCC integrates supervised, clinic-style learning as an instructional component where applicable. This hands-on experience allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a controlled learning environment under the direct supervision of qualified instructors. The purpose of this experience is educational—not commercial—and is intended to reinforce theory, enhance technical competence, and prepare students for professional practice.

Through this balanced approach, HBCC ensures graduates develop academic strength, practical competence, professional confidence, and strong client communication skills, preparing them for successful entry into their chosen fields.

Today, Health & Beauty Canadian College stands as a trusted institution in the GTA — committed to excellence, innovation, and student success — helping graduates launch rewarding careers in the dynamic world of health and beauty.
